Bangor Harvest Market: McKee Clock Arena Saturday 26 September 2020, 10am - 4pm
To kick off the month long celebration of food and drink we have our first Harvest Market, bringing together some of the finest produce that Ards and North Down has to offer at this traditional farmers market.
Featuring producers that you usually never get to meet, along with some local favourites. You will find everything from breads to meats and sauces to cheese your are sure to go away with something delicious.
Bangor Market - Every Wednesday, 8am - 1pm
Bangor Market will run on the 30 September, 7, 14 and 21 of October during local food month. The market operates between 8am and 1pm at the Asda car park off Main Street. As one of the largest remaining open-air markets in Northern Ireland it features green grocery, fish, baked goods, clothes, household goods and flower traders.
Harvest Comber Farmers' Market - First Thursday of the Month
Thursday 1 October, 9am - 1pm
Winner of the 'Best NI Local Market' in the Year of Food and Drink Awards Comber Farmers’ Market began in 2014 as a small farmers' market run by volunteers from the Comber Regeneration and Community Partnership and since then has gone from strength to strength. The award-winning artisan food event attracts top producers from across Northern Ireland with the very best meat, fish, bread, fruit, veg, cheese, jams, chutneys, sauces and much more. Up to 30 traders attend every month, attracting visitors from across County Down, Belfast and beyond. For the Harvest Market, Comber Horticultural Society will also be providing a demonstration of locally grown vegetables, fruit and flowers by named local people.
Market Fresh Bangor - Second Saturday of the Month
Saturday 10 October, 12noon - 4pm
This artisan craft and food market found at Project 24 on Queen's Parade has become a local favourite with great local makers, bakers and growers. Many of the traders featured will also make an appearance at the Bangor Harvest Market on 26 September.
Newtownards Harvest Market | Conway Square, Saturday 17 October - 8am - 5pm
Weekly markets are a tradition here, a fixture for almost a century. Strangford Lough seafood, local vegetables, plants, homewares and traditional breads that are baked as you wait are available for you to buy.
Newtownards Market - Every Saturday, 8am - 3pm
As well as the Local Food Month Harvest Market on the 17, Newtownards Saturday Market will run on the 26 of September, 3 and 10 of October from 8am-3pm at Conway Square. With great fresh produce alongside household bargains and flowers, it's the very best time of year to a pay a visit.
