Clandeboye Golf Club boasts two courses in a demanding wooded environment of gorse

Created in 1933 by William Renwick Robinson, Clandeboye lies between Bangor and Newtownards in the surrounds of the Dufferin Estate.

Clandeboye boasts two courses, the Dufferin and the Ava. The former designed by German architect Baron Von Limburger in association with former Ryder Cup stars Dave Thomas and Peter Alliss in the early 1970’s. Each course has a distinctive character. The vistas from the Dufferin over Belfast Lough and the Scottish Coast and Strangford Lough from the Ava.
