Make Ards Visitor Information Centre your first stop for  places to visit, where to stay, local events and where to eat during your visit to Ards Peninsula and Strangford Lough region. Situated beside the bus station and within a short walk of the town centre and the main shopping areas. The Centre can provide you with local and national tourist information, accommodation booking service, fax and photocopying service as well as an extensive range of souvenirs. 

Ards Crafts, situated within the Visitor Information Centre, provides a showcase for the talents of local artists and craftspeople in a beautiful retail space. Available to purchase is an extensive range of handmade jewellery, ceramics, woodturning, pottery, textiles and much, much more. Ards Crafts hosts a programme called 'Meet the Maker' which provides the opportunity for the public to see the person behind the creations, either through demonstrations or workshops held within the centre.

We are also home to "The Space" an exhibition area featuring a variety of local history, photography, craft and other exhibitions throughout the year. 

In 2015 Ards Visitor Information Centre were awarded a Silver Award in the Green Tourism Business Scheme.
