Our story begins with John de Courcey and his knights and it takes us to Kirkistown Castle, Cloughey. From there we travel to Kearney historical village, a National Trust property and film setting for My Mother and Other Strangers. You will enjoy learning about the notable ‘characters’ who lived there through the centuries. You will see romantic Quintin Castle which is one of the few Anglo-Norman castles still lived in today and hear stories of its colourful past. Filming for Game of Thrones took place along this coastal stretch. Our final destination will be the pretty town of Portaferry which also has a castle.

Duration 4 hours.
