Hope Street is back on the beat as it returns for series 5

BBC have announced that the popular TV series Hope Street, filmed in Donaghadee in the Borough, returns to BBC One Northern Ireland and BBC iPlayer this Monday, 27 October 2025.

Set in the fictional town of Port Devine, Hope Street is a co-commission between BBC Northern Ireland, BBC Daytime and BritBox, made with support from Northern Ireland Screen.

The police drama, made by Long Story TV, reaches the 50th episode milestone during this run, and the cast and creatives share their thoughts on series five, which sees two new faces arrive in Port Devine. To hear what the cast and crew have to say visit the feature article on the BBC website >> here
