National Trust property, Mount Stewart have launched their Christmas programme, a series of seasonal events ranging from festive gift ware to wreath making, storytelling, children's festive crafts, trails and the opportunity to create and post your letter off to Santa!
Meet the Maker - Dasalee Linen Craft
Saturday 26 and Sunday 27 November
Meet one of our fabulous local artisan suppliers. Dasalee are sisters Stephanie Hazelton and Das Sheila Oldcroft, two textile artists based in Co. Tyrone, Northern Ireland. They collaborate, together their individual skills in a unique way to produce their textile art. Watch them in action as they create their beautiful pieces at the Mount Stewart shop which will also be available to buy.

Wreath Making
Saturday 3 December (1pm-3pm) and Thursday 8 December (11am -1pm)
Get creative this Christmas and join us for our Festive wreath making workshop. Using natural materials foraged from the gardens at Mount Stewart, along with some additional Christmas scents and embellishments, make something beautiful and personal for your home. This 2 hour workshop will include hot drinks and festive snacks. Each participant will leave with their own bespoke indoor wreath. Book online

Festive Storytelling
Saturday 10 - Sunday 11 December and Saturday 17 - Sunday 18 December (11am-2pm)
Join us in the secondhand bookshop and get cosy and listen to some festive tales to get you in the mood for the holiday season. (Normal admission applies, members free)
Christmas House Trail and Festive Crafts
Saturday 10, Sunday 11, Saturday 17 and Sunday 18 December (11am-2pm)
Soak up the Christmas spirit in Mansion House with a seasonal trail, ending with some festive crafts in our Function Room. (Normal admission applies, members free)
Winter Wander Trail
Saturday 17 December - Sunday 8 January (10am-4pm)
Wrap up warm and follow the festive lake trail to find seasonal surprises along the way.

Write and post your letter to Santa
Thursday 1 - Tuesday 20 December (10am-4pm)
Write your letter to Father Christmas and send it on its way in our post box.
