Developed for 2021 a range of unique experiences allowing you to discover more of what Ards and North Down has to offer.
Our coastline stretches 115 miles and offers many opportunities to get on the water. Paddleboard on Belfast Lough with an ‘on board’ picnic or explore the wildlife of Strangford Lough on a canadian canoe. Back on dry land take time away to recharge on one of our wellbeing experiences. Connect with nature through the art of yoga in special places or meditation at Castle Espie.

SUP and Soda - £50pp

Meeting place: Green Boat Shed, Whiterock, Killinchy
Leave your stresses on the shoreline and immerse yourself in the tranquillity of Strangford Lough as you paddleboard from Whiterock to Ballymorran. See the seals, hear the history, before stepping into the warmth of a traditional Irish thatched cottage to enjoy freshly griddled soda bread, egg and sausage. (A vegetarian option will be available)
After a cosy chat around the cottage kitchen table it will be back 'on board' to return to Whiterock. This experience promises you completely switch off and immerse yourself in the beauty of Strangford Lough. You will burn off the calories on your way home.
Your instructor will brief you on the basics of paddleboarding before you go afloat. After mastering the technique we will undertake a journey across the bay to Tracey’s Farmhouse kitchen.
What’s provided: 2hrs Stand up paddleboading tuition and tour | paddleboards | paddle and leash | wetsuit and buoyancy aid. What to bring: Wear swimwear under your clothes | Towel and old trainers/water shoes | Hat and sun protection (here’s hoping!)

Dawn SUP and Island Yoga Experience - £50pp - SOLD OUT

Start your Sunday on the waters of Strangford Lough by paddleboarding to an Island. Connect with nature above and below the water, while enjoying the physical and mental benefits of yoga, then enjoy a light breakfast before returning to shore.
