Get an exclusive glimpse into Donaghadee past on a special walking tour conducted by local Blue Badge Tourist Guide, Laura Spence.  Tales of shipwrecks, a Casanova-esque Presbyterian minister, a walk down Murder Lane and a myth debunked surrounding Ireland's oldest pub, are just a few examples of what you can expect to see and hear about.

Award winning artists, Northern Irelands own Brian Kennedy and 1980’s sensation Eddi Reader, performers of hits such as 'Message in a box and Fairground Attractions 'Perfect'. 

This is a one-time opportunity to see these artists come together to perform in Donaghadee!

Fireworks will take place at 9.30pm.

Access restrictions will be in place to 
The Commons, Donaghadee on 
Friday 7 12noon through to Sunday 9 September 10am 

• Access will be permitted to those wishing to use the onsite activities and the Aire de Service up to 12noon.
• There will be NO overnight parking.  

• Access will be closed to all unauthorised vehicles 
• There will be NO overnight parking. 
• Disabled car parking is available in the car park adjacent to Donaghadee Community Centre car park, where the Sir Samuel Kelly Lifeboat is.  From this location there is a tarmacked pathway through The Commons to the area of the performance.  Parking will be on a first come, first served basis.

Getting here… 

By car:

Follow A2 to High Bangor Rd/B21 in Bangor. Continue on High Bangor Rd/B21.  Drive to A48 in Donaghadee.

By bus:

We will even help you get home on Saturday 8 by providing free late night buses departing from Donaghadee Commons at 10pm and 10:30pm one going directly to Bangor Bus Station and one to Ards Bus Station.
