Award winning Artisan market selling fresh and seasonal produce in Comber
farmers market, comber, fresh produce
Comber Farmers' Market is held on the first Thursday of the month from 09:00 - 13:30 in St Mary's Parish Church car park, the Square, Comber. There are over 24 regular traders selling artisan food and plants.
The range includes breads, cheeses, vegetables, fruit, cakes, traybakes, tarts, quiches, eggs, olives, jams, chutneys, fish, dry cured bacon, sausages, gammon, kid-goat meat, flowers, bedding plants, chocolate, sauces, and oils. In addition, the ladies of the church catering committee provide morning tea, coffee and homemade scones, buns and biscuits in the church hall.
The award winning Comber Farmers’ Market (CFM) was started by Comber Regeneration Community Partnership who believed that a food market would help to regenerate Comber, give local food producers an opportunity to sell their products, and attract more visitors to the town.
This vision has more than exceeded our expectations with 24 artisan food stalls regularly taking part on the first Thursday of every month. The market has built up a strong reputation for selling fresh, seasonal, award winning food and plant products.
Seasonal themed Thursdays during the year. See website for details.
Everyone welcome to come, view and hopefully be tempted by the delights on offer.
