In this interactive workshop celebrating and exploring native Irish trees, Sissy from The Conservation Volunteers will take you on a guided tour of the Ulster Folk Museum grounds which is rich with flora and wildlife. You'll have the opportunity to take bark rubbings, examine fallen twigs and leaves, and learn how to identify our native trees. Along the way you will also learn about the relationship humans have with trees in Ireland through folklore and how it links with what we now know about these trees.
• Suitable for adults and children 8+. Children must be supervised by an adult at all times
• This event will be outside and will involve walking, please wear appropriate clothes and footwear.
