About

The Sea Bangor festival will mark the 80th Anniversary of The D-Day Landing with a 1940s themed programme on Saturday 1 June (12noon – 6pm) and Sunday 2 June (1pm-6pm). This celebration of the City of Bangor’s maritime heritage returns to the seafront with nautical fun on and off the water!

Quay Street Car Park area will take on a distinctly holiday atmosphere with 1940s themed fun.

There will be lots of maritime fun - enjoy kids’ activities at the beach area, funfair rides and entertainment throughout the weekend. A great programme of music acts will bring a nostalgic feel with a lively mix of 40s favourites.

Head to Eisenhower Pier to watch some fantastic food demo’s at the Demo Kitchen where chefs from the local college, SERC, will be creating tasty dishes using fresh local produce to give you inspiration to take home and try for yourself!
