Under 12 – 1st: £50; 2nd £25
Under 18 – 1st: £75; 2nd £40
Over 18 – 1st: £100; 2nd £50
Closing Date for entries: 25th August.
Winners will be notified before 30th August
As before entries are to be a painting or a drawing (no photographs).

Get moving, feel great, and connect with your community with our
Summer Fitness Sessions. Enjoy a variety of workouts led by local
personal trainers and fitness instructors — all designed to help you stay
active and energized throughout the summer. All sessions are free and
open to all fitness levels. Whether you’re a beginner or a fitness
enthusiast, there’s something for everyone. Come along, bring a friend,
and let’s get fit together!
5th July - Alex with body combat class, energetic combat-based class
with music
19th July - HQ Fit Training promo session, A one-hour class combines
strength and cardio in a dynamic, full-body workout designed to
challenge all fitness levels. It’s a chance to move, lift and sweat in the
fresh air.
26th July - Sarah Curry with Dance fitness class. A fun musical
movement for all fitness levels.
2nd August - Jamie Lemon with a full bodyweight workout
9th August - Alex with body combat class, energetic combat-based class
with music.
16th August - Yoga with Gayle, A breathwork & Yoga class. Bring a mat
if you have one.

30th August - Root to Rise with Cara, Yoga class for mind-body

Four week Writing for Wellness course
Organised by Alex Catherwood
July 9th, 16th, 23rd and 30th.
From 7.30 to 9.30 pm at Harbour & Co. in Donaghadee.
Following on from courses held last summer, this course is for anyone
interested in meditative, relaxed writing with no previous experience
needed.

Friendship Garden at Shore Street Church
Organised by Shore Street Presbyterian Church
We warmly invite you to visit our 'Friendship Garden'. Come, take time
to sit, relax and enjoy the beauty of the garden overlooking the sea and
town. All welcome. It is open every day from 17 June until the end of
August. Watch our Facebook page for days that tea and coffee will be
served too.

Historical Walking Tour
Organised by Donaghadee Local History Forum
Most Thursday’s from 17th July to 28th August (check detailed
programme for exclusions)
Time: 10am
Learn about the rich history of this town from 1600 to present day.
Tours start at harbour entrance and last about 2½ hours on fairly flat
ground and will end with a visit to the Sir Samuel Kelly Lifeboat. Tours
are free, just turn up.
Making Waves
A series of workshops and events organised by Creative Donaghadee
Various days and locations throughout the summer
Interested in exploring your creative talents or taking up something new
then why not come along to one or more of these sessions. See detailed
programme for different events and dates. With one exception these are
all free but please register beforehand by emailing
creativedonaghadee@gmail.com. There is charge of £5 for Sausage
Soda’s and Onion Bhaji’s - a one woman play by Lata Sharma on 26th
June.
Rhythm & Rhyme

Visit the Sir Samuel Kelly Lifeboat and find out about our lifeboats, the
1953 Princess Victoria Disaster, history of Donaghadee Harbour and
our local coast Guard Stations
Free entry (donations always welcome). Any additional times and
events will be on Facebook and our website www.deeheritage.co.uk. It
is 75 years since the the Samuel Kelly lifeboat to Donaghadee join us
in celebrating this anniversary
Wellbeing Walking Group
Organised by the Multi-Disciplinary Team at Donaghadee Health Centre

Everyone welcome. A flat gentle walk suitable for all who want to
socialise and get moving.

Women on Water (WoW-We)
Organised by Donaghadee Sailing Club
Wednesdays up to and including 28th August
6.30pm
WoW-We encourages ladies to enjoy water related activities safely.
Sailing dinghies and ribs will be available every session and
paddleboarding or snorkelling on request. Wetsuits and buoyancy aids
can be provided. We are a mixed ability group, from total beginner to
round the world sailors. More information and booking on our
