Over three nights, groups will compete for points towards the Northern Ireland One-Act Finals and the All-Ireland One-Act Finals. The adjudicator, Walker Ewart OBE (Association of Drama Adjudicators), will present his adjudication of the performances at the end of each night, with a final adjudication and presentation of awards on the Saturday night.

A Dog’s Life by Pam Valentine

A woman has to choose between the dogs in an animal shelter. A moving insight into the humour and pathos of life in a dogs’ shelter – from the canine perspective. (COMEDY)

 

Bangor Drama Club
The Donahue Sisters by Geraldine Aron

Three estranged sisters, awaiting the death of their father in the attic of the family home, discuss their unhappy lives and their childhood. Then thoughts turn to a sinister event from their past. (DRAMA)

 

Moynalty Drama (Co. Leitrim)
Babysitting Calvin by John H. Newmeir

Baby Calvin can remember his previous life when he was happily married to Laura who he discovers is his new babysitter. Calvin will lose his blissful memories when he turns one - or speaks - so he determines not to talk! (COMEDY)

Tickets are £14 per night or a Festival Season Ticket is available in person at Bangor Visitor Information Centre, or by phone 02891 270 069. £30 for all 3 evenings.

Things to note
On-street parking is available or a car park is available nearby at ASDA (this is now limited to 3 hours). There is free unlimited evening parking available in Bingham Lane Car Park, Mills Road Car Park (near Community Hub) and King Street Car Park (off Main Street).

Studio 1A is licensed and the theatre bar will be open for 30 minutes prior to the event, at the interval and for 30 minutes after the performance.
