          This event is sold out. Step back in time into 1193 as you enter one of Ireland’s most impressive examples of early gothic architecture, Grey Abbey. The grounds boast the reconstructed Physic Garden, an area for the cultivation of over 50 herbs and plants, which would be used to produce medicines, believed to be grown by the Cistercians.

              Have you ever wondered what it takes to get a Dexter Cow ready to show? Now you can be part of it in this fabulous hands-on experience. Let The Alexander Family welcome you to their farm in the heart of Greyabbey on the shores of Strangford Lough to meet their herd of Dexters.

                Meet the Alexander family and their herd of Dexter Cows. This farm walk will allow visitors to learn about sustainable farming right on the shores of Strangford Lough.

                  Take inspiration from the colours and landscapes surrounding you to create a unique wall hanging on a peg loom. This workshop will introduce you to the art of peg loom weaving, an easy and quick method to produce a fabric. Work with a variety of fibres, yarns and ‘trimmings’, on looms of differing widths.
