Step into the boots of a traditional farmer with an opportunity to milk a cow and make your own farmhouse butter. Guided by Orlock’s experienced hosts, you’ll learn the secrets of transforming fresh milk into creamy, hand-churned butter—connecting you to the authentic crafts of the countryside.
Picnic Lunch and Soda Bread

After your farm adventures, gather for a picnic lunch in the open air. Local food champion Christine will demonstrate the art of making traditional Irish soda bread, sharing folklore and time-honoured techniques. Savour the fruits of your labour by pairing freshly baked soda bread with the homemade butter you created earlier. A generous Wild Dining spread will also be provided.
