Join us for a fun, relaxed, sustainable, willow weaving workshop with expert, willow artist Heather Mcdermott Willow Craft and learn the fundamental skills and techniques required to create a large willow heart sculpture (and some smaller hearts , if time permits) to decorate your garden or home..you could even add ribbons, fairy lights or flowers for a creative St Valentine flourish. If you can bear to part with 'your heart'.. why not give it as a unique romantic handmade gift for your loved one?

You will also visit our Salley garden, weather permitting, and learn about the sustainable and renewable qualities of willow and our efforts to promote eco-conscious crafting, so please dress accordingly

This workshop is suitable for adults only, as sharp tools and some manual dexterity is required, It is also suitable for beginners and experienced alike

Tickets cost £75pp and include
Individual guidance and assistance
Tools and materials
Morning and afternoon teas including homemade scones and cake
A delicious homemade seasonal lunch


So come along, bring a friend or your loved one for a memorable day, connecting with nature, learning a new skill in a beautiful heritage setting.

As Walled Garden restoration works are underway, the entrance to Old Mill House may not be suitable for wheelchair users. If anyone has a particular question around accessibility they are encouraged to speak with Lorraine before booking.
