Enjoy a SUP session followed by a Hotel Tour showcasing sustainability hacks followed by an introduction to local food and drink.
About this event
Session for 10 people | Start time: 12 noon | 2.5 hours and will include:-
* A SUP session from the Lifeboat slip with insights into seaside sustainability from SUPHub NI (please arrive 15 minutes before your session starts)
* A tour of the hotel highlighting some of the sustainability hacks used at The Salty Dog
* A showcase of local food and drink from Ards and North Down
* a selection of snacks based on the local food
* a full size drink of your choice based on your favourite from the showcase

The AND Sustainable Giants is a passionate group of tourism providers committed to sustainable and green tourism practices. These local people care deeply about this place, and constantly strive to operate in ways that reduce negative impact on the environment. This green tourism network members build sustainability into their everyday business practices helping to preserve and protect the planet now and for future generations to enjoy.
All reduced rates in the Sustainable Showcase are facilitated through funding from the Live Here Love Here’s Climate Challenge Fund, where schools, local councils, community and youth groups and businesses across Northern Ireland benefitted from grants to help put their climate knowledge into action.
Funded by the UK Government through the UK Community Renewal Fund, the scheme made £200,000 available for projects that introduced climate action into local communities.
