Step back in time into 1193 as you enter one of Ireland’s most impressive examples of early gothic architecture, Grey Abbey. The grounds boast the reconstructed Physic Garden, an area for the cultivation of over 50 herbs and plants, which would be used to produce medicines, believed to be grown by the Cistercians.

All children must be accompanied by an adult and pay full price ticket cost | Tour covers uneven ground. Suitable footwear is advisable | Relevant Covid-19 restrictions, at the time of the tour, will be included in tour information.
