A house and garden tour with refreshments, delivered by the owners of this beautiful estate, Grey Abbey House, which is not normally open to the public.

Overlooking Strangford Lough on the Ards Peninsula, Grey Abbey House and its vast gardens, benefit from a temperate climate which supports a plethora of unusual flora and fauna, some of which have been collected by the present owners on their travels.Not to be outdone, the house
(which is one of the finest Georgian country houses in Ireland ) is just as fascinating. Enjoy a delightful guided tour of both house and gardens with owners, William and Daphne Montgomery, followed by light refreshments of tea and scones.

 

Things to note
U18's welcome, ticket applicable. No concession.
U18's must be accompamied by at least one paying adult.

Getting there
By car: From Belfast/Newtownards follow A20 to Greyabbey village. At the roundabout turn right and drive along Main Street to the Wildfowler Inn. Turn left at the side of the Wildfowler Inn. The entrance to Greyabbey Estate is between the Wildfowler and the primary school.  Parking is available at Greyabbey House.
