Do you remember either making ‘friendship bracelets’ growing up, or being given them?  This workshop gives you the opportunity to re-live this, and make a bracelet (or two or three…) on a beading loom under the guidance of local textile artist Christine.  Once you have mastered a bracelet, you can use your imagination for other uses for a piece of beaded trimming, making it into a longer strap or edging for other projects or clothing. The Ards Peninsula is a fresh, energetic part of the world, and this workshop will put any stresses and worries aside for at least a few hours, with a bit of craic, storytelling, and time out. If the weather is good, you will be creating these masterpieces in the garden gazebo with a continuous supply of tea, coffee and home-made scones and cakes.  If the weather is cooler, work in a nice, warm studio, and Basil the cat may just come in to check we are on the right lines…

18+ | All equipment provided | No experience necessary | Relevant Covid-19 restrictions will be issued in advance of workshop | Please ensure that you check with all members of your party regarding food allergies, intolerances, and dietary requirements prior to booking tickets. It is the responsibility of the ticketholder to inform a member of staff at the host venue about  food allergies, intolerances and specific dietary requirements.  This must be done 72 hours before the experience by contacting Christine on  07968342928
