Come along to our Country Skills and Horse Ploughing Day! We'll be honouring the heritage skills and traditions that have been passed down over many generations in Ulster- many of which are still relevant today!
Watch how horseshoes are made at Lisrace Forge and see shoeing in action with farriers applying horseshoes to horses using traditional methods. Our working sheep dogs will be out in the fields where demonstrations of heritage ploughing techniques will also be going on. You'll also be able to try your hand at rope making with straw and say hello to all of our farm animals.
