Alternative date available: 22 July 2022

Following the sad news of the death of the sovereign Queen Elizabeth II, all Council-run events and Council/Committee meetings will be cancelled/rescheduled until the end of the mourning period on 20 September.

The Photography Workshop is rescheduled from 17 September until 2 October. All ticketholders will be contacted directly.

A rare opportunity to gain access to the beauty that lies within The Walled Garden at Helen's Bay. Paul Moane from Aurora PA will take you around the garden stopping at particular points to focus on a tree, beehive, plant, building or even the light. Paul will provide hints and tips and try to get you to see things from a different perspective. This relaxed, hands-on workshop is designed both for beginners and those wishing to refresh their knowledge and will give you the opportunity to photograph a garden that is a real hidden beauty. Lorraine from The Walled Garden will not only provide a warm welcome but also tea and cake (made from ingredients from the garden), served in the old workers cottages to finish off your experience. This will provide time to chat to Paul and Lorraine.  An experience not to be missed - book now.
