North Down Museum and Bangor Castle EHOD 2023

About

Bangor Castle, now the City Hall, dates from 1852. It was built for the Hon. Robert Edward Ward, landlord of much of Bangor.  

North Down Museum is housed in the former laundry and stables of the main building.  

 There will be guided tours of Bangor Castle offering a rare opportunity to see behind the scenes of this beautiful building. 

Tours 2:15pm, 2:45pm, 3:15pm, 3:45pm, (no need to book)
   
North Down Museum will be open on Sunday 10 September, 12noon-4:00pm.   Please note Bangor Castle will be closed on Sunday 10 September.
