Walking Tours of the Ards Peninsula delivered by Ards Peninsula Tours

Walking Tour locations;

Kearney and Quintin Castle.  Kearney is a picturesque coastal village owned by the National Trust. You will see spectacular coastal scenery and unique rock formations, learn about the social history of the area and Quintin Castle.  Duration: two hours.

Slanes Graveyard, Church and Souterrain.  The ancient burial ground of Slanes with the ruins of its old church is sited within a ringfort. Close by is a souterrain. This tour covers early history of the area and the fascinating stories of some of the people buried there.  Duration: one hour.

Kirkistown Castle and Cloughey Coastal walk.  Kirkistown Castle dates from the 17th Century and has an interesting history. Cloughey is a maritime village with an amazing seafaring history.  Duration: one hour.

Strangford Lough Ballyhenry Island and Bay.  This is a very scenic coastal walk along Strangford Lough, one of the top tourist attractions in Northern Ireland. Experience this area of outstanding natural beauty and hear stories of the people and the place.  Duration: two hours.
