AboutThe Tea Room at Mount Stewart on the shores of Strangford Lough, offers an excellent standard of cuisine in historic and relaxing surroundings.
In conjunction with the National Trust Cookbook the menu is complemented with local recipes reflecting the properties Spirit of Place, using local produce and high quality ingredients.The staff at the Tea Room have gained a wealth of experience working in a wide range of establishments throughout Northern Ireland. You can eat in the Tea Room without having to pay admission fee to the house itself. There is a selection of soups available, some using produce from the house gardens, homemade scones, tray bakes and cakes, all made on site. If you want something more substantial, choose from a selection of light meals such as broccoli and feta parcel or a main course of sweet potato, spinach and cheddar flan.
