Helen’s Bay Golf Club has small greens with clumps of mature trees making scoring a challenge
Helen’s Bay Golf Club is one of the most beautiful golf courses in Northern Ireland. Founded in 1896, it nestles on a gentle hill at the mouth of Belfast Lough in the middle of the village of Helen’s Bay. The Club welcomes visitors – in golfing societies or as individuals. The well-maintained nine-hole course is a true test of accurate golf and, although it does not visually intimidate beginners, with 66 bunkers guarding 18 holes, even the low handicaps don’t find it easy to break par.
