So much to do and see!
Winter may be upon us but don't let it put you off getting out and exploring what's on your doorstep
Let us inspire you with things to do this Winter season!
Why not take a brisk walk round the North Down Coastal Path, up to Scrabo Tower and through Killynether Wood, go bug hunting or fairy hunting amidst the trees and streams of Crawfordsburn Country Park.
Download the Discover the Ards and North Down App and follow the trails, learn of the history of the area, and the influence of the Ulster-Scots in the Borough.
We have excellent award winning Museums. Step back 100 years to days gone by in the Ulster Folk and Transport Museum in Cultra, visit the Somme Museum and learn of Ireland's part in the Wars of the World. Bangor's own North Down Museum, located at Bangor Castle, will take you through the history of the Borough, from Viking days to present, with exhibitions, displays and all set in the beautiful landscapes of Castle Park.
Exploris Aquarium in Portaferry is the perfect spot to visit for a great family day out! Enjoy the stunning views across Strangford Lough or Belfast Lough, whichever route you choose, on your journey to the picturesque fishing town.
