Who carried out this vile deed? Why did they do it? Come along and discover the culprit!

Mr Augustus Tinkle, the famed Sea Captain, had organised a gathering to celebrate the launch of his new ship, the ‘Salome‘. Invitations have been sent to many people, including some suggested by his friend and sponsor Lady Elizabeth Blackwood. The group gathered this evening for dinner at around the hour of five pm, and then mingled, wandered the clubs halls or retired to their own NOVEMBER devices. It was sometime between this hour and that of seven that Mr Hamish McTaggart, the entrepreneur, was found dead, stabbed through the neck with a ceremonial dagger taken from a museum display. Who carried out this vile deed? Why did they do it? Come along and discover the culprit!
