Get ready for a vibrant weekend as Bangor Vibes brings music, culture and celebration to every corner of the city. Enjoy free live performances in venues, a world-class pipe band competition, the exciting new Bangor Beats and Rhythms event, and the much-loved Picnic in the Park - ensuring the City of Bangor will be buzzing!
Bangor Vibes takes place ahead of Belfast hosting the Fleadh Cheoil na hÉireann, the world’s biggest celebration of Irish music and culture, from Sunday 2 August to Sunday 9 August 2026.

There will be a number of Visitor Information Points located throughout the city where staff there can help guide you through your day, or offer tips on how to make even more of your visit. These points will be located...
- At the Pipe Bands event in Ward Park, 11am-6pm and will be based beside the hot food trucks on site;
- At Bangor Bus and Rail Translink Station in the city centre - 10am until 8.30pm;
- In the vicinty of Jenny Watts Bar on High Street near to the Bangor Beats and Rhythms event, from 12noon until 8.30pm
